Interesting article on DGL. I wonder if you have heard anything about Seabuckthorn, specifically Seabuckthorn fruit oil? I have been using it along with a regimen of seed oil and flavonoids (in gel capsules) for about a year. (There are many studies on the effects of seabuckthorn on ulcers and reflux.) I used to take Tumsor Rolaids 8-10 times/week. Now I almost never need it. I believe it ts the Omega 7 fatty acid, great at repairing mucous membranes. I would love to offer you and some of your readers free samples in return for a review on your site. Effective or not, just an honest review.

It is just by chance that I have heartburn and have benefited from seabuckthorn. My terrible case of reflux, for obvious reasons, makes me passionate about this application of our products. The heartburn/ulcer product is still in final development stages, so this free sample offer is just for the benefit of you and your readers.

Products can be seen at sibu.com.

I would love to hear from you.

The comment about data being skimpy holds for most natural remedies. I am currently recruiting subjects for a study of another natural remedy for heartburn (we are paying the subjects). I am a nutrition professor and am being assisted by an MD. One does not have to live near here to be in the study. For more info, email studies@columbus.rr.com
